About Us

For me, interior design has always been about more than creating beautiful spaces. It’s about creating a home that feels deeply personal—a place that reflects who you are, supports the way you live, and feels like it truly belongs to you.

I’m Allison Rice, founder and principal designer of Studio Rice Interiors. With more than a decade of experience in the design industry and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Converse University, I’ve had the opportunity to work across many facets of residential design—from cabinetry, kitchens, and bathrooms to renovations, new construction, furnishings, and full-service interiors.

That experience shaped the philosophy behind Studio Rice: Intentional design. Beautifully personal.

I believe meaningful design begins with purpose. Every decision—from the flow of a floor plan to the cabinetry details, lighting, materials, furnishings, and final accessories—should feel considered and connected to the overall vision. My goal isn’t to simply create a beautiful home; it’s to understand how you live and create a space that feels distinctly yours.

At Studio Rice Interiors, our mission is to create intentional, thoughtfully designed interiors that balance beauty, function, and individuality.

I love being involved from the earliest stages of a project, working alongside homeowners, builders, architects, and trades to make sure the details are considered before construction begins. I believe collaboration and clear communication are just as important as creativity, and I want my clients to feel supported and confident throughout the entire design process.

Whether we’re designing a home from the ground up, reimagining an existing space, or selecting the final layer of furnishings, the same values guide every project: intentionality, personal connection, thoughtful design, timeless individuality, collaboration, and care in every detail.

I’m drawn to interiors that feel collected rather than overly designed—spaces with warmth, character, color, texture, and unexpected details. I’m not interested in creating the same look for every client.

Your home should tell your story.

Ultimately, I want the finished space to feel effortless, even though every detail behind it has been carefully considered.

Every detail considered. Every space with purpose.

Welcome to Studio Rice Interiors. I can’t wait to help you create a home that feels beautifully, intentionally yours.
